Deputy PM says over 300 bln rbl invested in IT solutions in 2023

MOSCOW, Dec 4 (PRIME) -- Russian IT solutions have received more than 300 billion rubles of investment in 2023, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said on Monday.

“Today the IT industry employs more than 820,000 people, and the number will be only rising,” Chernyshenko said.

The turnover of the country’s companies that deal with development and creation of software amounted to 1.7 trillion rubles in 2023.

Chernyshenko said that on president’s orders, the government prepares a new national data economy project that will cover many directions from software development to quantum computing.
